Site Access Update
The works currently being completed at Denman Prospect are being constructed by two of the Land Development Agency’s (LDA) contractors. The LDA has advised Capital Estate Developments (CED) on 26 April 2016 that their contractors are busy achieving their final handovers. Once this is completed to a standard acceptable to the ACT Government’s Asset Acceptance Agency (TaMS), the site will be in a position to legally open to the public and perimeter fences will be removed. This process, known as Operational Acceptance will also allow for the creation of Titles over each of the blocks and subsequent settlement of the land.
The latest advice that we have from the LDA is that handover will take place week ending 20 May 2016.
In the meantime, we suggest that any purchasers, who have not already done so, use the next few weeks to finalise house design approvals and get their finances ready to settle soon after the creation of the Titles. This will enable purchasers to start building on their blocks as quickly as possible, thus saving on holding costs.
